Are you ready to get the ball rolling?

A series of 4 workshops, held once a month, starting Sunday 28th August 2016, from 4pm to 5-30pm.

The fourth Sunday in September, October and November 2016.

This course will introduce:

Pushing the ball – at first a short distance, then longer distances.

Physical ball control skills – your dog learns to control the direction the ball is moving in.

Handler orientation – teaching your dog to face towards you,band to push the ball towards you, regardless of where the dog is starting from.

Impulse Control

The Outrun, using a go to Mat (as a place target)

How to introduce increased distance.

Directional Control – sending your dog from left to right, and from right to left, and going around objects.

Training skills – various reward-based methods, including luring, targeting, clicker training, shaping and backward chaining.
